🔵 Blue Business Leaders, CEOs, Official Participants ✓ Yes ✓ Most ✗ Limited ✗ No
🟠 Orange Media, Journalists, Press ✓ Media areas ✗ Press only ✗ No ✗ No

WEF 2027 FAQ

Yes, the WEF Annual Meeting sessions require an official WEF badge. However, the Promenade pavilions and most side events hosted by companies can invite guests without badges. GS Hospitality can help maximise your Davos week even without official WEF accreditation.
We strongly recommend booking 12–18 months in advance. The best chalets within walking distance of the Congress Centre are reserved 18 months ahead. For WEF 2027 (January 19–23), the ideal booking window is now through December 2025 for accommodations.
January in Davos is cold alpine winter. Temperatures range from -12°C to -2°C, with possible snowfall. However, Davos has excellent heated indoor facilities and most movement between venues involves short walks. GS Hospitality provides full packing guidance and can arrange heated ground transfers.
Absolutely. We have dedicated private chef networks for halal, kosher, vegan, Jain, and all other dietary requirements. Our Gulf state delegation clients receive fully halal-certified catering with appropriate menus. We source all ingredients from certified suppliers and brief chefs on protocols before arrival.
Yes, but coordination is required well in advance. Swiss authorities require advance notification for personal security teams. GS Hospitality works directly with Swiss Federal Police and cantonal authorities to ensure smooth coordination. We handle all necessary permits, briefings, and liaising with WEF security for government delegations.
A pavilion is a standalone branded structure on the Promenade — typically 50–300 sqm, purpose-built for WEF week. A lounge refers to a private hospitality space within an existing venue (hotel, restaurant, or chalet). Both can host events without WEF badges. Pavilions offer higher brand visibility; lounges offer more privacy and exclusivity.
We provide comprehensive visa advisory services including Schengen visa invitation letters, documentation checklists by nationality, and guidance on processing times. We cannot submit applications on your behalf, but our travel advisory team will guide you through every step. See our Swiss Travel page for detailed information by region.
Many clients extend their stays to experience Swiss Alpine experiences. We can arrange Glacier Express journeys, Zermatt and Matterhorn visits, Jungfraujoch excursions, St. Moritz stays, and bespoke Alpine tours. See our Tours page for post-WEF Swiss experiences we've curated for past delegates.
